The Makuharitoyosuna Station on the JR Keiyo Line opened on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The 62nd Annual Spring Meeting of the Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology was held successfully at Chiba’s prime convention complex, Makuhari Messe from June 4 to June 6, 2021. The meeting has brought together approximately 1,500 in-person participants from the medical field. This year’s theme focused on the future of Cytology in Japan where further development of Cytology and its contribution to society were thoroughly discussed.

The annual event which aimed to promote Chiba’s resources as meeting venue while seeking cooperation of local entities was participated by 238 guests from various sectors of local government, travel and tourism industry, and educational institutions.

Cvent unveiled the list of top meeting destinations in which Chiba was among the names on the top 25. The lists were said to be compiled based on the meeting and event booking activity across the Cvent’s venue sourcing site in 2018. The destinations are ranked based on specified criteria on number of unique request proposal received, granted no. of request for proposals, qualified meeting venues, etc.

On 10th of July 2019 held the Diplomats Study Tour to Chiba. The tour is courtesy of Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center in cooperation with Chiba Prefecture, Chiba City and various private enterprises, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
