Global Meeting Industry Day held Successfully in Chiba
The ‘GMID Networking Event in Chiba’ was held successfully at the Chiba Convention Bureau’s office on April 4, 2019. The event was part of the Global Meeting Industry Day (GMID) worldwide commemoration.
GMID is the celebration of the real impact of meetings on people, businesses and the economy. Led by the Meeting Mean Business Coalition, this worldwide event that was participated by more than 40 countries in different regions brought together advocates of the meeting industry.
The GMID event organized by the Chiba Convention Bureau was participated by 24 representatives from the national tourism office, hospitality, and entertainment industry who came to celebrate, share vision about the industry, and exchange ideas on how to overcome the challenges ahead.
Through cooperation of people from various sectors of government and private entities, CCB has continued to develop programs that will bring local people and industries together to attract local and international events.
