The Inter-Noise 2023 to be held first time in Chiba
Bringing together about 1,000 researchers from all over the world to Makuhari Messe
The 52nd International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering
(Inter-Noise 2023)
Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center (CCB-IC), an affiliated organization of Chiba Prefectural Government has been dedicated to attracting business events in Chiba from academic to tourism promotion by actively working closely with people involved such as local government, public and private establishments, institutions, stakeholders, and event organizers.
The Bureau in collaboration with the Institute of Noise Control Engineering of Japan (INCE/J), the Acoustic Society of Japan (ASJ), Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Chiba Prefecture, and Makuhari Messe has been involved in the promotion of Chiba as the host venue for the Congress since March 2019, and provided the organizers various hands-on assistance such as documentation, government and local coordination, venue selection, and more. Finally in August this year, during the 50th International Congress and Exhibition on Noise Control Engineering held in Washington D.C., USA, Makuhari Messe in Chiba City was announced officially as the venue for the Inter-Noise 2023.
Despite the majority of business events had been postponed, canceled, or held online in the recent year due to the worldwide pandemic, Chiba Convention Bureau will continue to promote and deliver support and assistance to event organizers in staging their events in Chiba.
