CCB on the Support for the 133rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Prosthodontic Society
The Chiba Convention Bureau (CCB) has welcomed the 133rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Prosthodontics and the Asian Prosthodontic Society with various support and assistance. Held at Makuhari Messe from Saturday, July 6th to Sunday, July 7th, 2024, our organization made several proposals mirroring the unique character of Chiba and provided support to organizers aimed to bring the best possible outcome for the annual meeting.
CCB owning a collection of videos unique to the Chiba Convention Bureau, provided promotional tools showcasing Chiba Prefecture including the images of its prime tourist attractions. These materials were provided and played at the venue during break time with some promotional clips at the conference hall some images introducing the Makuhari area during the exchange meeting.
The Chiba Prefecture's mascot character, Chiba-kun had visited the venue for photo shoots session with participants, in which the president of the conference reported that the number of Chiba-kun fans has increased significantly. We hope that the increased recognition of Chiba-kun will deepen interest in Chiba Prefecture among conference participants who have not visited the prefecture before.
The 133rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Prosthodontic Society was co-hosted with the Asian Academy of Prosthodontics. In cooperation with the Chiba City Tourism Promotion Division, they set up a tourist information desk for two days, aimed to assists mainly foreign participants.
In cooperation with various academic conferences and international conference organizers, the Chiba Convention Bureau hope to continue bringing support and assistance to many future business events.
