The Chiba MICE Network Meeting held first time for the fiscal year 2024
The Chiba Convention Bureau (CCB) organize event, the Chiba MICE Network Meeting was held first time for this fiscal year on Thursday, May 23, 2024. The meeting which is held once every 3 months is aimed for the supporting members of the CCB to meet in person to exchange ideas and information, and strengthen their network. The first meeting was attended by 33 members from 15 different local organizations.
This time, in cooperation with Makuhari Messe held a backstage tour of the convention complexes aimed to provide ideas on how to use of the convention facility. This is in addition to the networking event which hope to bring more business opportunities and new business collaboration. During the backstage tour, areas that are not usually open to the public, such as the hall, multipurpose hall, control room for the international conference center, simultaneous interpretation room, loading elevator, kitchen, and pantry, which are actually in use where explored. To add more on the enlightenment, the CCB and the Makuhari Messe provided a presentation that evolved in the topic ‘New Structure and Business Plan for 2024’, and the initiatives by the two entities in attracting and hosting business events. The event ended with light refreshments and networking among the participants.
