Sakura City’s Promotional Video is Now Available Online
Sakura City has released a promotional video with the theme, ‘Feel Sakura City’. The video projects the image of Sakura City as a city of abundant attraction with history, nature, and culture. It introduces the city’s main attractions -flower viewing, fireworks display, and villages depicting ‘the old Japan’ where former feudal lord residences.
Located only 15 minutes away from one of the biggest and busiest airports in Japan, the Narita Airport and an hour away from Metropolitan Tokyo, Sakura City is drawing attention of local and global travelers.
In 2016, Sakura City, together with Narita City, Katori City, and Choshi City was designated as Japan Heritage site under the title ‘An Edo Travelogue through Four Hokuso Cities’. These cities which were influenced by Edo yet developed independently, remains much of the atmosphere of Edo Era.
