1. JFE Steel Corporation East Japan Works (Chiba)
JFE Steel East Japan Works (Chiba) was the first coastal steelworks for integrated steelmaking built after the war in Japan. It covers an area of 164 Tokyo Domes. It is on a massive scale of 7,660,000 square meters. While always making use of state-of-the-art technology and equipment, it produces premium steel products.
On the factory tour, you can see the giant blast furnace, symbol of the ironworks, and part of the dynamic iron manufacturing process.

2. Lion Corporation Chiba Plant
At the Lion Co., Ltd. Chiba plant, products used in everyday life are produced, such as laundry detergent, fabric softener and kitchen detergent.
On the tour, after viewing an experiment showing oil stains being removed with detergent, you can observe the packaging process close to the machine.

At the Sapporo Beer Chiba plant, the Sapporo beer tasty from the balancing of the aroma, flavor and bitterness, and featuring a good sharpness when swallowing, is made in an environment surrounded by sea and greenery.
